Portable, the street pop singer also known as Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile, recently expressed frustration on social media after his song was locked on some international platforms. In an audio conversation with his manager, Babyluvgram, Portable revealed that he was asked to pay N500,000 just to gain access to his own songs. The singer, who has a good relationship with international music star Skepta, mentioned that they should seek Skepta’s help. He even considered locking all his music to prevent unauthorized access. Portable didn’t hold back, taking a swipe at the white men who own the platform where his songs were restricted. He questioned how they could demand payment for accessing his own creative work. Fans have reacted to this situation, with some expressing support for Portable and anticipating a collaboration between him and Skepta.
